Decision and Sacrifices ...

Once upon in December ...

"I know you're safe now, but I think we need you ..."

"We're on probation for 1 year ... we are not sure yet"

"Will you do it ? ...."

"Yes ..."


Fast forward one year ...


"It's going to be very hard to justify ..."

"The measures numbers are bad ! ... "

"I appreciate what you've done ... but ..."

"OK ... it's all right ... it's a choice that I made"


It's scene that defines and end of my 2007 working year ...
What's the result ?
1. We still lose alot of them ...
2. We were not to be disbanded ...
3. We are positive now ...
4. We are a cohesive tight unit bars one ...
5. I missed a lot of my measurement ...

Four We's and one I, if you're talking about results ... It haven't been one of my stellar years if you're talking about results. It will not be as good as I hoped ... if you're talking about me financially ...

But ... I wouldn't have it any other way ...
As coach John Wooden (10 times NCAA champs) would say ..."It's not about winning ... It's the process we've gone through to win ... Winning is the icing ... the process is the cake ..."

I would not be satisfied just with eating the icing ... I would be content with the cake without icing ...
Icing would make it extra delicious though ...

It was the year defining decision I made, and I am glad I enjoyed the process ... So I'm not really disappointed with the result.
